In celebration of Valentine’s Day The New Yorker has curated a selection of intimate portraits from photographers who have a significant body of work devoted to their husband, wife, partner, or lover. One of artists they highlight is our own Lee Friedlander with his wife Maria in Oregon.

Tomorrow, December 22nd, is the last day to visit our Michal Rovner, Chuck Close, Lee Friendlander, and Kienholz exhibitions.
Artlog highlights Lee Friedlander’s intimate black-and-white Nudes, a series begun in the late 70s, on view now at Pace. The exhibit continues with Pace/MacGill’s presentation of Friedlander’s newest body of work, Mannequin, photos of storefront windows and their reflections taken in New York, L.A., and San Francisco between 2003 to 2011. Both exhibits are on view at 32 East 57th Street until December 22, 2012.
